How many opportunities have you missed because
you were afraid to speak up? What
changes didnt happen because you didnt present your ideas well? How many
misunderstandings could have been avoided if you would have communicated more
clearly?
Toastmasters is a worldwide organization which was established in 1924 to afford practice
and training in the art of public speaking and in presiding over meetings, and
to promote sociability and good fellowship among its members.
Westwinds Toastmasters Club was
established in 1999 as a local chapter of Toastmasters International. Our membership includes Toastmasters with diverse
backgrounds and a wide range of experience.
Whether you are new to Toastmasters and public speaking or a professional
looking to polish that award winning presentation, we can help. Westwinds
Toastmasters Club's mission is
to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning
environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication
and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal
growth.

Westwinds Toastmasters Club
meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month in the
offices of Ingram Micro, 1759
Wehrle Drive, Williamsville NY
14221,
adjacent to Medaille Colleges Amherst
campus. The meeting begins at 7 PM and
ends by 9 PM. Guests are always welcome
but we ask that you please contact us beforehand at Westwinds@tmdistrict65.org.
Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, your customers,
your co-workers, classmates or your kids, Westwinds Toastmasters Club can help you do it better.
